About Us

DCA Leadership Development was established by David Collier, Managing Director, who specialises in developing leadership capability through work-based action research and learning, executive coaching and team development. He has extensive experience in management and leadership development at senior / middle manager level.

Until setting up DCA, David’s recent career has been in the financial services sector, latterly with HBOS where he held roles in leadership and organisation development. He was a key member of the design and delivery team for work-based action learning leadership programmes.

He has held previous management roles within Standard Chartered, NPI and Safeway. Having completed a Masters degree in Human Resource Strategy, from the University of East Anglia, his doctoral (EdD) research at Sheffield Hallam University is specialising in international management development. David is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). He is also a Faculty Member of the International Management Centres Association.
